Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary Trip: The Knights of Columbus organized a day trip to the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, at Holy Hill. This is a beautiful religious shrine, drawing over 500,000 visitors annually. The trip was open to members of all parishes.
Wednesday, October 16, 2024 the Lamers Coach departed at 7:00 a.m. from the parking lot of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church. Fifty people were able to make the trip. It was beautiful fall day. Mass was held at 11:00 a.m.
The original plan was to stop and for dinner but due to problems with the bus this was not possible. Even with the difficulties this was a very good trip.
